She subsequently changed her major to creative writing at UCLA as a junior when she was 18 years old. She established Illuminary Pictures when she was 23 and finished two motion pictures there. She can also speak German, Albanian, and Hungarian in addition to English.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, California, and works for nonprofits that support families. She supports the 1736 Family Crisis Center and is a supporter of animal rights. Her other charitable achievements include founding the Children of the World Foundation, which provides food, education, and shelter to families living in poverty, as well as serving as the ambassador for Scholastic’s “Read for Life” initiative.
