McKnight’s Daughter has been Diagnosed with a Rare Kind of Brain Cancer

After 11 months of motherhood, McKnight and her husband were shaken by a family occurrence.

Their baby girl was diagnosed with Cortical Dysplasia, a rare congenital brain condition that causes seizures.

The newborn girl improved after a year of treatment, and it appeared that the parents had weathered the storm. That was not the case, though.

Divorce of McKnight and LeBlanc

McKnight had the misfortune of having to face a similar situation again in her life after a failed marriage.

Her husband, who had a reputation as a womanizer, went back to his old habits of going to bars. While on vacation in British Columbia with his five buddies, he was caught groping a stripper at an all-nude club. The star then apologized to his wife, but the harm had already been done.

The actor’s friendship with his co-star, Andrea Anders, was the final nail in the coffin. As a result, he and McKnight filed for divorce in March 2006, which was finalized in September of the same year.

The couple agreed to forego any spousal support claims, but the Friends actor, who has an estimated net worth of $80 million, agreed to pay a monthly sum until his daughter reached the age of 18.
