Lil Ricky is first mentioned in season one, but he was supposedly dead at the time. Season 3 puts a lot of emphasis on his character after the shocking revelation that Lil Ricky is only presumed dead.
Our favorite foursome is forced to find and bring Lil Ricky to current Santos leader Cuchillos, but they have no idea where he is. Lil Ricky’s story is finally revealed in Season 4.

What Is Lil Ricky’s Real Name?
Remember when it was suggested that Chivo was Lil Ricky? He is Chivo’s cousin, as revealed in season 1. Ricardo Galindo, also known as Lil Ricky, is the true founder of the Santos gang.
Ricky’s romantic adventures also catch the attention of the Core Four. They learn that he not only dated Cuchillos but also had an affair with Rose, a former TV dancer.
Ricky had pulled off the infamous ’81 RollerWorld Heist with Benito and Frankie, which appears to be a driving plot point for On My Block. The Santos members hid the money, but Ricky’s accomplices were apprehended and died in prison. Lil Ricky was on the run, but the show implies that he died 19 months after his accomplices.
Season 3 concludes with the shocking cliffhanger that Ricky, the only person who knows where the money is hidden, is alive and well. The Core Four—Monsé, Jamal, Ruby, and Cesar—are on the hunt for Ricky, but he appears to be evading them. The kids have no idea who Lil Ricky is or what he looks like, resulting in numerous cases of mistaken identity.
What Became of Lil Ricky?
While the Core Four is on the hunt for Ricky, it turns out that they have always been linked to him. Ricky had been hiding in plain sight as the owner of The Farm, a Bakersfield rehabilitation center.
Fans may recall Cesar’s father taking a job in Bakersfield. His mysterious employer is Ricardo Galindo, and the job is at The Farm.
He even has an encounter with Cesar, which convinces viewers that this unidentified man is the Santos founder. The Core Four and Ricky have a hilarious heart-to-heart near the end of the series.
