On the occasion of his daughter Hannah Dune’s birthday, American actor Griffin Dunne wished her a “Happy Birthday” on Instagram, naming his ex-wife Carey Lowell in the caption.
On April 29, 1990, Dunne and his ex-wife, Carey Lowell welcomed their daughter Hannah Dunne. Hannah decided to pursue a career in acting and modeling like her parents. She is most recognized for her role as Lizzie Campbell in Mozart in the Jungle, an Amazon TV series. Dune tagged his ex-wife, Lowell, in a black and white close-up photo of his daughter with a nice caption.

Dunne greeted his little girl a happy birthday a year later in a similar fashion, with a photo of his daughters and a birthday remark that addressed his baby mama, Lowell. On June 17, 2019, the daughter of the former spouse shared an Instagram photo with her father. Hannah sobbed as she clutched her father’s hand. Griffin held her securely.
Griffin and Carey both left comments on the post. “I love this,” Lowell wrote, but his father said, “This kills me.” “I adore you, My Daughter.”
Dune and Lowell originally met in 1988 and married on September 9, 1989, after seeing one other for a year. However, the couple divorced six years later, citing irreconcilable differences as the basis for their breakup. However, based on these Instagram posts, it appears that the two have a friendly relationship for the sake of their daughter.

After the divorce, The After Hour star married his third wife, an Australian stylist, Anna Bingemann, in July 2009. They met at actress Uma Thurman’s birthday party and are still together. Dune married Kate Forte for a year before annulling their marriage, while Lowell was previously married to photographer John Stember. Lowell dated actor Richard Gere for seven years after his divorce from Dune. In 2002, they finally married. However, 11 years after their marriage, the couple divorced.
The couple’s separation was reportedly caused by their differing lifestyle choices. Gere prefers a solitary existence as a devout Buddhist, whereas Lowell enjoys mingling. According to a source close to the couple,
They (Lowell and Gere) have a home in Bedford, New York, which he enjoys since it is peaceful and offers seclusion. She adores being in the spotlight in North Haven.
Richard and Lowell have a son, Homer James Jigme Gere, who was born in 2000.
“They (Lowell and Gere) will do everything necessary to keep things cordial and put their child first,” a source close to the pair told People.
