GA FES 2021, which took place on January 31, 2021, was part of GA Bunko’s 15th-anniversary celebrations. GA Bunko is a publishing label linked with the Japanese publishing house SB Creative. The announcements of planned projects based on the light novels published under their label were one of the event’s main draws.
Not only that, but GA FES 2021 saw the announcement of anime adaptations of some popular light novels, including I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, The Executioner and Her Way Of Life, and The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt (Hey, How About Treason?).

The Difficult Beginnings of Goblin Slayer
While Goblin Slayer is currently a tremendously successful anime with a large fan base, it had a bumpy start when it initially aired in 2018. When the first episode debuted, it sparked debate because Crunchyroll had rated it as TV-PG.
Goblin Slayer, as a dark fantasy series, included a considerable amount of violence and situations that were inappropriate for a younger audience. Crunchyroll, on the other hand, quickly apologized and adjusted the classification to TV-MA.

As soon as the story became public, the streaming service issued a content warning. The uproar, though, continued for a few more weeks before cooling down.
Because of the gore and sexual assault elements in the first episode, Goblin Slayer remains one of the most contentious anime openings to date.
However, the distinctiveness that distinguishes it from other typical fantasy programs has attracted a considerable fan base. Because of its success, the show will be adapted into a film titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown on February 1, 2020, based on the fifth light novel in the dark fantasy series.
