Tinsley Mortimer, the star of Real Housewives of New York (RHONY), and Scott Kluth, the CEO of money-saving website CouponCabin, have had their relationship tested yet again.
The couple reportedly broke up, with sources telling US Weekly that their distance and tight schedule were the reasons for their breakup. Tinsley lives in New York, while her boyfriend lives in Chicago, hundreds of miles away, adding to the stress of their long-distance relationship.
According to one of the US Weekly’s informants,
Their connection is tumultuous. They talk every day and continue to express their love for each other. They are not exclusive right now because they are long-distance. After all, she is so busy in NYC and he is so busy in Chicago.
Even though the couple broke up without saying anything, it was not the first time they had parted ways. In October of 2017, the two called it quits on their relationship.
The couple reconnected after Scott returned to Bravo’s reality show in the 2018 season. Since then, the two have had ups and downs in their relationship and have broken up on various occasions.
However, when the two reconciled in May 2018 during an episode of RHONY, Tinsley expressed her apprehension about marrying Scott and having children together.
Tinsley, who has a $35 million net worth, even tried on bridal gowns with her mother Dale on one of the most recent episodes. She tested on the $5K Clara dress and the $10,230 Kimpton dress before meeting with her fertility specialist, who showed the photographs of her seven frozen eggs.

Tinsley and her mother teared up as they saw her future motherhood dreams come true, and Tinsley intimated that she dearly wanted to be a parent.
While Tinsley and Scott’s breakup has been kept low-key, there are expectations that the two could revive their romance. According to one of the individuals reported by US Weekly,
“These minor breaks, they’ve done it before.” They’re both optimistic that they’ll be able to work things out once their schedules are less hectic… They are infatuated with one other.”

Scott is unable to emotionally let go of Tinsley. Tinsley is holding out hope that Scott will propose to her. Tinsley and Scott originally met in 2017 during season 9 of the Bravo series RHONY, when co-star Carole Radziwill introduced them.
Tinsley was married to Robert Livingston Mortimer from 2002 to 2010 before starting her relationship with Scott. The couple met at Lawrenceville School and eloped at the age of 18 before marrying at the age of 26.
Her ex-husband has been married to Tabitha Simmons, a shoe designer, since June 9, 2018.
