Olivia Rodrigo’s Age, Height, Ethnicity, and Family Background

Olivia Rodrigo, a 13-year-old child actress, rose to international prominence after starring as Grace in the 2015 film franchise American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success.

She played Paige in the 2016 Disney TV sitcom Bizaardvark after wowing viewers with her debut performance. Rodrigo was cast in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as Nini Salazar-Roberts in 2019.

Her Family and Ethnicity

Olivia was born in the United States on February 20, 2003, to a Filipino-American father and an Irish-American and German-American mother. She identifies as an Asian-Pacific American because of her family’s diverse cultural background.

Her grandfather, the All I Want singer, who immigrated to America as a youngster, instilled Filipino culture in her from a young age. Filipino cuisine was one way he planned to link his granddaughter to her heritage.

Not only that, but while she’s not on set, she’s being homeschooled by her family, who are working hard to help her earn a degree.

The Bizaardvark actor, who stands 5 feet and 5 inches tall, appears to have a closer bond with her father than the rest of her family, as evidenced by her Instagram photos highlighting him.

Speaks Out for a Good Cause

Rodrigo’s use of social media to speak up on problems like racism and climate warming may be due to her cultural upbringing.

She claimed in an Instagram post dated September 21, 2019, that she considers herself fortunate to be a part of a generation that can effect positive climate change. She had previously published a message in April 2019 in which she urged adolescents to modify their lifestyles to improve the environment.

Rodrigo honored her birthday in February 2021 by donating to the Rain Forest Trust, an organization that works to safeguard the environment through community engagement. She invited her admirers to donate money to the organization as a birthday present to her.
