She was born in Wisconsin on July 2, 1980, and grew up in Roscoe, Illinois.
Her first television appearance was during the Miss Illinois Teen USA 1998 contest, which she won.
Following her graduation from Northern Illinois University, the stunning host decided to pursue a career in media, landing her first job as a reporter with WREX-TV. She moved on to another local TV station, WANE-TV, as a general assignment reporter after a year with WREX. She moved into WISH-TV a year later. Nicole Briscoe received her first taste of becoming a sportscaster while working for WISH-TV.
She became a member of Charlotte-based Speed Channel after the encounter whetted her desire. She co-hosted The Speed Report, a motorsports-related show on the channel.
Nicole Briscoe joined ESPN in 2008 as a host for several NASCAR broadcasts after working for the channel for two years. She hosted NASCAR Countdown and NASCAR Now, as well as pre-race broadcasts, for six years. She joined SportsCenter as an anchor in 2014, a position she still occupies.
Her affiliation with ESPN has not only elevated her profile in the broadcasting field but has also benefited her financially. She earns more than $100K a year as one of the most well-known female sportscasters in the industry, which is the average base salary for ESPN anchors.

Nicole Reflected on Her 20-Year Career
Nicole was the keynote speaker at an event hosted by the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau in September 2018 that honored a group of four local sports figures with another edition of Sports Stories.
She began by telling stories about how she got her career started in Rockford.
Without the push that I received 20 years ago, I would not be who I am now. Never say never is something I’ve learned. That’s because of the foundation I was given right here.
Members of her family, some of her former school professors, and a few former WREX coworkers were among the 140 individuals in the audience. Nicole was close to tears several times as she spoke to the audience about various aspects of her work life as well as her life outside of the ESPN studio.
Pictures of Nicole’s two young girls flashed over the monitor displays as she spoke, and Nicole could barely hold back her tears as she expressed her gratitude to the audience.

Nicole Leads A Peaceful Life With Her Family, Devoted To Love Forever
Nicole married Ryan Briscoe, an IndyCar racer, in 2009, and the couple has two daughters together.
The stunning TV personality is active on social media and frequently posts pictures of her family on Instagram. In June 2016, she shared an Instagram photo with her eldest daughter in which her pregnant baby bump was visible. Nicole’s husband stated a month later that she had given birth to another baby girl, and that both she and the child were doing well following the pregnancy.
The four-person family is enjoying their joyful family life to the fullest, with both spouses involved in racing in some capacity. Nicole’s husband, Ryan, is also quite public about displaying his family life on social media. Nicole spoke to USAToday after her promotion to SportsCenter in 2014, explaining that despite the extensive traveling the happily married couple had to endure, they still managed to find time for one other. The couple’s love was on display on their eighth anniversary, when both husband and wife turned to Instagram to express their appreciation for one another. The adoring husband stated that he was the luckiest guy alive to have married such a lovely and caring woman.
The grateful wife returned the gesture, stating that her marriage had exceeded her expectations for the past eight years.
Despite having been together for nearly a decade and having two daughters together, their romance shows no signs of slowing down.
