Mario Dedivanovic is one of Hollywood’s hottest makeup artists, with a celebrity clientele that includes the Kardashians, Ariana Grande, and Emily Ratajkowski, among others. Dedivanovic is well recognized for his role on the Lifetime TV show Glam Masters as a judge.
His Early Years
On October 1, 1983, the exceptional makeup artist was born in Bronx, New York, United States. He grew up as the youngest of his parents’ four children. He has a brother and two sisters.
After graduating from high school, he obtained his first job at Sephora in the fragrance division. He’s been heavily adorning himself with perfumes and other aromas since then. Dedivanovic quickly developed a passion for cosmetics and went on to work as a freelance makeup artist for Fox News, preparing their anchors for their appearances.

He is quite close to his family
Dedivanovic is a family man who is very close to his mother, Lula, who is 74 years old. His mother, on the other hand, does not wear any makeup. He also frequently shares photos of his mother, expressing his affection for her. He wished her International Women’s Day on Instagram on March 8, 2021.
The makeup artist shared a childhood photo of himself with his mother, saying he was proud to observe women’s strength and grace.
His family members also contribute equally to his employment and look after him. His older sister Marina, cousin Diana Benitez, and another cousin’s wife, Gina Dedivani, all assist him in running his Masterclass, a live event for aspiring makeup artists.
In 2019, he came out as gay
Dedivanovic officially came out as gay when winning an award at the American Influencer Awards presentation in November 2019, after years in the spotlight. He described how he had spent his entire life and childhood repressing his emotions, living in fear, and feeling ashamed. However, a few days before the show, he bravely revealed his true identity to his mother.
I eventually informed her [mother] that I had spent my entire life and upbringing concealing my thoughts, dreams, feelings, and creativity, and attempting to blend into the background so that no one would know how I was feeling on the inside.

He finished his address by declaring himself to be “a proud 37-year-old gay man” who could now enjoy his life to the fullest.
Meanwhile, Dedivanovic’s close friend Kim Kardashian approached him and put her arm around him as he sobbed at the disclosure. He is currently enjoying his life as an out gay man. He has kept his personal life secret, though, with no mention of a potential lover or relationship.

When Dedivanovic worked for Fox News, few women trusted him with their cosmetics. But one day, news anchor Julie Banderas agreed to have him do her makeup, and the rest is history, as they say. Following Banderas, he made up for Megyn Kelly, and both women were so thrilled with his work that they asked for him every week.
Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Chrissy Teigen, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kate Bosworth are among his current clients.
At the 2017 American Influencer Awards, he was named Best Celebrity Makeup Artist. Kardashian and the beauty artist have a tight relationship, and they’ve even collaborated on a makeup line, KKW x Mario.
