Manish Patel, 35, was born on June 17, 1983, and he had a unique method of commemorating his grandfather: he used his grandfather’s first name, Dayal, as his stage surname.
Sudhir and Hema Patel, his Indian parents, raised him in South Carolina. He has three siblings, two of whom are older and one of whom is younger.
Dayal is of Gujarati Indian ancestry and is shorter in stature than the average American.
He went to Heathwood Hall Episcopal School for high school and George Washington University for college. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2005 and then moved to New York to seek a career as an actor.
He relocated to Los Angeles five years later, where he currently resides.

Dayal began his career in the entertainment industry by appearing in national advertisements for McDonald’s, Windows, Nintendo, and Domino’s Pizza. After that, in 2008, he appeared in an off-Broadway production of Rafta, Rafta.
Manish appeared in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Paula van der Oest’s Domino Effect as a minor character before rising to prominence in 2014.
Following that, he was cast as a guest star on CSI: Las Vegas. Later in his career, he played Hal, a code-breaking computer expert on the AMC series Rubicon.
Aside from that, the 35-year-old actor has also appeared in Walkaway, a romantic comedy film. He played Ravi on NBC’s comedy series Outsourced in 2010 and 2011.
In the third and fourth seasons of The CW’s 90210, he played Raj Kher, a cancer-stricken college student.
Dayal’s most notable part to date was in the film The Hundred-Foot Journey, in which he co-starred with famed British actress Helen Mirren as Hassan Kadam.

The wedding featured a traditional Indian theme, with the newlyweds, their family, friends, and relatives all dressed in traditional Indian garb.
The men typically wore kurtas, while the women wore Sarees. Sneha, his wife, was dressed in a lovely red saree, while he donned a green kurta.
Indian weddings are typically held over multiple days, with new clothes being worn each day to signify the meaning of marriage and the period following it.
