Lisa Vicari is a German actress who gained fame for her role as Martha Nielsen in the Netflix series Dark.
With roles in films such as Luna and Hell, she has also demonstrated her acting talent.
Her enthralling performances are the product of a lifelong enthusiasm for acting that she established at a young age.
To Join Acting Classes Vicari Begged Her Mother
Since she was a child, the Isi & Ossi actress has aspired to appear in movies.
Vicari told SLEEK magazine in February 2018 that as a child, he saw the 2001 detective thriller Emil und die Detektive and wanted to be in movies after that.
“They were just so uninhibited… “I guess I’ve always wanted to be like them,” Lisa said of the movie’s characters.

However, the actress came from a non-acting family, which meant she had to persuade her mother [at the age of ten] to let her enroll in an acting class so she could learn to act.
Her perseverance paid off, and she was granted permission to participate in the weekly improvisational theatre class.
Vicari also spoke to the German magazine Süddeutsche Zeitung in the same month, stating that her parents’ support and joyful childhood helped form her acting talent.
“I have a lot of emotional intelligence…
I had a wonderful childhood. My parents encouraged me to express myself… I enjoy crying. I enjoy the feeling of melancholy. “I suppose that’s simple for me,” she said.

Her One-of-a-Kind Netflix Reputation
Vicari is the first German actress to appear in both the original German television series and the Netflix film. She appeared in the television series Dark and the film Isi & Ossi.
Dark, regarded as one of the best science fiction series, provided the Munich native with much-needed exposure. Many fans and critics praised her performance in the series, as she was the show’s primary character.
Similarly, in the rom-com film Isi & Ossi, the actress amused spectators with her witty lines and lovely chemistry with co-star Dennis Mojen.
In addition, the 24-year-old actress has appeared in films and television shows in Germany, including Doktorspiele, Under Suspicion, Die Chefin, SOKO 5113, and Tatort.

Is Vicari Working on Any New Television Shows or Films?
Vicari’s most recent major release was the third season of Netflix’s Dark, which was released on June 27, 2020, and was a huge success.
After that, the Luna actress directed her debut film, Blue Blue Moon, a short film starring her Dark co-star Moritz Jahn.
In terms of her forthcoming projects, she has a couple of them in the works, one of which is a film called Hannes. The film is based on novelist Rita Falk’s novel of the same name.
Django, an English-language re-imagining of Sergio Corbucci’s classic 1990s Western, is her second project.

Matthias Schoenaerts, Noomi Rapace, and Nicholas Pinnock also feature in the drama, which is set to air in 2020.
