Working With WE Organization Isn’t Your Average Honeymoon
The couple’s honeymoon was next, and it was anything but traditional for Linda Phan and her husband Drew.
When they returned home from their recent honeymoon, they made sure to leave a little of their love behind. Instead of a typical island vacation or a European adventure, the newlyweds traveled to Ecuador with the Canadian charitable organization WE to construct bathrooms and sanitation in a remote Amazon village.
On August 18, Drew told US Weekly about his honeymoon.
“For our honeymoon this year, we went to Ecuador, which is at the end of the Amazon rainforest, into a small village, and [helped] build these bathrooms.” “These villagers have never had access to toilets.”
Linda and her husband have teamed up with WE for the second year in a row to give back to the community.
In their first year working with the organization WE, the couple traveled to Kenya to help build a small community.
