Gong Yoo, a South Korean actor, created quite an impression in the Korean cinema business with his roles in successful films such as Silenced and Kim Ji Young, born in 1982.
The popularity of his other efforts, such as Goblin and Coffee Prince, boosted his reputation and helped him gain a large number of admirers.
Despite his professional achievement, his personal life does not appear to be progressing much, since he is still unmarried.
Yoo told ‘I’m still Quite Young
Yoo is 41 years old and still enjoys being single. He is the only one who realizes he is of marriageable age, has children, and is ready to settle down with a family.
In a December 2016 interview with the Inquisitr, he admitted that his peers his age were already fathers and moms to children.
Despite being the same age, he acknowledged addressing married friends as “Hyungs” [Big brother].

Then, although reiterating his desire for a wife and children, Yoo admitted that he was mentally too young to deal with the difficulties of getting married, having children, and starting a family.
“In fact, my friends are parents of elementary students, but despite my age, I am still very young [mentally]. Just by what I see from others around me, I can tell that getting married, creating a family, and having kids is extremely difficult.”
Yoo was asked about his ideas on marriage and why he was not married during the MBC Docuflex’s Coffee Prince special Youth Documentary in 2020.
He stressed that he had no intention of never marrying, but that he had misjudged his timing.
His Relationship Rumors
Yoo, despite his forthrightness, is not immune to rumors. He was supposed to be dating his co-star Kim Go Eun, for example.
The on-screen pair from the TV show Goblin were the subject of romance rumors. However, both of their agencies dismissed the rumor as a hoax.
The rumor began when Eun ended her relationship with her then-boyfriend Shin Ha-Kyun.
You had nothing to do with Eun’s split, according to her agency.
He had never been in a Relationship
It’s not that the actor has never been in a relationship; he was previously romantically involved with a woman. When he appeared on SBS’s talk show Because I Want to Talk in 2019, the Train To Busan star admitted to having a girlfriend.
He admitted that he had texted his ex-girlfriend while drunk and received no response. He texted her again the next day, saying that he had been drinking.
The actor said that he was relieved not to have gotten a response since it prevented their connection from becoming more unpleasant.
