Survives a Horrible Car Accident
Matt was hit by a speeding car while crossing the street in Los Angeles on December 3, 2018. He was subsequently rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was treated for a broken leg that was shattered in two places. He sustained head lacerations that required numerous stitches. According to TMZ, the event was not a hit-and-run.
Matt underwent surgery, which was thankfully successful, and the former MTV host is now in stable condition. On December 6, 2018, he thanked all of his fans and followers for their support during difficult times in an Instagram post.
Matt’s healing is progressing, and the stitches on his head have been removed. He is pushing for a quick recovery through physical treatment. He has been out of the press since his horrific accident, but he is active on social media, updating his fans on his health and wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
