Mark Lowry, an American musician, has always kept his personal life private.
The fact that he previously went on a date with fellow Christian comedian Chonda Pierce cannot be denied.
Yes, the comedian had a good time with the lady and even captured the occasion on camera. However, as their love moved to nowhere, their union appeared to be little more than a goofy date.

In March of 2015, at the age of 56, Lowry went on a date with fellow Christian Chonda Pierce.
The two lifelong friends and comedians finished the night by doing what they do best: taking funny photos together. Pierce shared the photos on her social media accounts, including Twitter and Facebook.
In the caption, she writes,
“It’s been 35 years since I’ve been on a date!!! My dearest friend was instrumental in breaking the ice!! Guess who this dashing gentleman is!??!!?? MARK LOWRY, MARK LOWRY, MARK LOWRY”
Pierce had lost her husband, David Pierce, to a massive stroke and heart attack nine months before the date. The date, however, did not result in anything significant.
Instead, it appeared like Lowry and Pierce were having a good time; shortly after the news of their relationship broke, she told The Quad-City Times in April 2015 that dating a comic was a horrible decision.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea for a comic to date another comic. It’d be a case of spontaneous combustion.”

Is Mark Lowry gay? Staying single, he claimed, was a positive experience
Lowry’s homosexuality has been a persistent topic of discussion in search engines. However, the rumour appears to be the result of the comedian’s decision to keep private about his relationship private and his public declaration that he is single.
Yes, Lowry has been outspoken about his decision to never marry or have children. When asked if he had a wife or children in a 2009 interview with modbee.com, the Christian comedian stated there were benefits to being single.
“No, I didn’t get married.”

Lowry appears to be sticking to his guns because, at the age of 65 (as of 2024), the entertainer is still single and without children.
