Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Gaten on Stranger Things, has been dating Lizzy Yu for three years. On March 5, 2021, they commemorated their third wedding anniversary and cherished the memories of their time together.
Yu Is Matarazzo’s Sunshine
For the previous two anniversaries, Matarazzo has posted lengthy and passionate wishes for Yu on Instagram. He would express his surprise at having been with the stunning girl for a full year. And how shocked he was that “this nugget has been with me for two years”
However, this year he was more casual and stated, “3 years? I guess that’s really cool. Sunshine, happy anniversary. The photos he shared this year are also extremely unguarded, showing how at ease they have become with one another.

The first selfie is a sun-kissed selfie of Yu, followed by her ducking out of a cheeky photo while eating, and then a silly photo of the two of them lying down together with a clay mask on his face. She thanked him for the past three years and referred to him as her favourite person.

Yu is an 18-year-old Libra who was born on October 5, 2002. She attended the same high school as Matarazzo, and the two of them went to prom together.
She aspires to be a performer in musical theatre, just like Matarazzo. She received praise for her performance with the Pinelands Thespians group. They triumphed in a theatre competition conducted on the Montclair State University stage thanks to their outstanding performance.
Yu is also adored by Matarazzo’s family. The actor remarked that she gets along with his sister and brother flawlessly. The charming Dustin from the Netflix series Stranger Things is Matarazzo’s most well-known role. He is best known to more seasoned fans for his pivotal performance as Gavroche in the second Broadway revival of Les Misérables.
