Holly Rowe, an American sports telecaster who rose to prominence as a sideline reporter for college football games on ESPN, is the proud mother of a grown-up son named McKylin Rowe.
McKylin, her son, is an aspiring actor and writer who has appeared in several TV shows and short films, including The Egos, Existential Mashed Potatoes, Brotherly Love, The Holidays, and Revealing Cards.

Holly, a University of Utah graduate, began her broadcasting career with Fox Sports in 1993 as a broadcaster of women’s college basketball games at the age of 27. She later worked for CBS, where she covered several seasons of the men’s Final Four (basketball), before joining ESPN.
She began working for ESPN in 1998 as a part-time sideline reporter on various network broadcasts. She later expanded her extensive knowledge of basketball reporting as a part of ESPN’s coverage of women’s college basketball games.
Her notable accomplishments at ESPN include providing play-by-play for Women’s World Cup matches, covering the Running of the Bulls and swimming events, and broadcasting track and field events.
Rowe joined the ABC Saturday Night Football team in the fall of 2021, according to ESPN. Rowe will be joined on the sidelines by Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit.
Rowe is in his 26th season as an ESPN and ABC college football analyst.
