Originally from Alabama, Robyn Kincaid was born Robin Welch on January 31, 1963. She and her family moved to a rural area of West Virginia many years ago. She is one of Kenneth Lee Welch and Margaret Welch’s four children.

Kenneth Welch, Robyn’s father, worked as a furnace operator, coal miner, and soldier. When he passed away in 2007, he left behind his wife Margaret, Joy Franks, Linda Welch, Rose Smith, and then-Robin Welch, as well as the spouses and kids of each of those people.

The Career of Robyn Kincaid

Bradshaw High School, Westminster College (Missouri), and West Virginia University were all attended by Robyn Kincaid. From 1981 to 1983, she attended Westminster College where she majored in anthropology, theatre, and English.

She started her radio program, Head-On, in 2005 to promote and disseminate liberal principles. Robyn is the COO and her wife Agnes is the producer of the Head-On Radio Network (H.O.R.N.).

Agnes, a former nurse, takes calls, arranges interviews, plans and performs the music, and manages the majority of the technological tasks. Their kids contributed to the show as well.

According to reports, neither the family nor the staff members working on Head-On make money for personal use nor solicit donations. However, they do take donations to help fund new technology and maintain the program’s “freedom from advertising and corporate influence since 2006.”
