Fuemana began her acting career in 1997 when she appeared in the play Frangipani Perfume. She composed and acted in her own play, Mapaki, two years later. She was nominated for Best Upcoming Actress of the Year and Outstanding New Writer at the Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards for her solo performance.
In addition, Fuemana wrote and directed the short film Sunday Fun Day. Her other cinematic credits include TV episodes such as Interrogation and Good Hands, as well as the 2019 film Vai. She also authored the plays Jingle Bells, The Packer, My Mother Dreaming, Falemalama, and Birds.
