Sandra Oh, best known for her appearances in Grey’s Anatomy and Killing Eve, made news recently after giving a passionate statement at the “Stop Asian Hate” event in Pittsburgh on March 20, 2021, in response to the horrible shootings in Atlanta, Georgia.
The actress spoke to a masked audience on the streets, expressing her support for Asian Americans. She said:
Pittsburgh, I am ecstatic to be here with you, and I applaud all of the organizers for putting this together simply to let us be together, stand together, and feel each other.
“I am glad to be Asian,” said the 49-year-old actress, who was greeted with applause from the audience.
Since the incident in Pittsburgh, there has been a surge of interest in the brave actress’s life, both professionally and personally.
Oh’s personal life has been a source of speculation, as she prefers to keep that aspect of her life extremely private.

Her personal life, however, has not been completely hidden. Since the Daily Mail photographed Oh with Russian artist Lev Rukhin in Italy in December 2018, it’s been known that the actress is in a long-term relationship with him.
The duo looked happy as they walked around Rome’s streets holding one other’s hands. On March 10, 2016, the two were seen together at the White House, Washington, DC, for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and First Lady Sophie Grégoire Trudeau’s State Dinner.
