An anonymous follower’s information about Hilary Duff and her older sister Haylie Duff was provided by celebrity news site DeuxMoi on June 22, 2022. The fan claimed to live close to Haylie’s famous acquaintance. The follower was informed by the buddy that the sisters’ conflict was brought on by divergent political ideologies.
Hilary identified as a liberal, whilst her sister, who supported American conservative celebrity Candace Owens, was the polar opposite and identified as a conservative. The follower said that Haylie’s decision to relocate to Texas was partly motivated by her inability to tolerate liberal Hollywood.
There is no way to know for sure if this information is accurate, but drama reporter Jordycrayy, also known as @jordycrayy on TikTok, posted a video indicating he thought it was.
The Duff sisters’ conflict was first identified by Jordycrayy. In February 2022, he posted this for the first time on TikTok, claiming to have conducted significant research to reach this conclusion.
Haylie and Hilary Duff’s Feud
The sisters were very close and constantly together, but Jordycrayy feared they had not spoken since January 2021. Since January 26, 2021, Hilary has not double-tapped any of her sister Haylie’s Instagram photos. Prior to this, the Lizzie McGuire actress was a frequent double-tapper.
Before it ceased, the sisters frequently appeared on each other’s feeds engaging in diverse activities. Despite the fact that Haylie was still following Hilary’s husband Matthew Koma on Instagram, Jordycrayy discovered that he was not.

In addition to being unfollowed, the TikToker iterated Haylie missed Hilary’s 2019 wedding. This gave him the impression that tensions may have been building for far longer than he had anticipated. Internet users concurred that Jordycrayy was on to something when they pointed to the non-mutual following status and the no-show at the wedding as signs.
Then, in April 2021, Haylie admitted she had yet to meet Hilary’s infant. Given that they lived close to one another in Los Angeles and had always appeared to be close, the TikToker thought it was strange that Haylie had not yet met Hilary’s child.

Jordycrayy was very suspicious that there was a feud between the sisters, but he was still dubious about it. But on February 19, 2022, Haylie’s 37th birthday, everything changed.
The TikToker was aware that if his suspicions were accurate, the former Gossip Girl would not be giving followers a birthday greeting. And Hilary didn’t post anything the entire day, proving Jordycrayy’s point.
The Duff sisters never skipped a beat when it came to birthday greetings, so this was a clear hint that they were not on speaking terms.
After waiting since January 2021, Hilary finally liked a picture of Haylie’s children in March 2022.
According to Jordycrayy, the actress probably made this decision strategically since she may not have wanted the sisters’ rivalry to escalate.
It appears Jordycrayy may be correct if the most recent DeuxMoi post is any indication.
