Lil Uzi Vert

American Rapper Lil Uzi Vert Does Not Believe In Dressing Up The Right Or Wrong Way!

Lil Uzi Vert’s music is a seamless blend of rock instrumentation and hip-hop-soul swagger. His particular approach has ushered in a new generation of rappers who are defying the limits of what can be mixed into rap music while earning the admiration of the genre’s elders.

The self-proclaimed rock star from Philadelphia idolizes Marilyn Manson and Wiz Khalifa, defies conventions wherever he can, dresses in women’s clothing, and stands confidently at 5’5′′.

His debut studio album Luv Is Rage 2 debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with the track ‘XO Tour Llif3’ reaching number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning the RIAA Platinum certification seven times.

“Everything in the Men’s Section was purchased by me.”

The 26-year-old rapper has made it obvious that he does not subscribe to gendered clothing and makes every effort to appear the part. Vert is continually blurring the barriers between men’s and women’s fashion, drawing inspiration from pioneers of rock’s androgynous style such as David Bowie and Iggy Pop.

Uzi stated to GQ that his love for women’s apparel originated when he had to wear his mother’s slim jeans since other trousers wouldn’t fit his little body. He continues, “The women’s portion is far superior to the men’s section.” Always. You normally don’t need to get things altered in the women’s section. It’s generally right on target.

Vert was stopped by The Hollywood Fix for a few questions regarding his choice to wear women’s apparel, which he occasionally matches with purses and ankle bracelets, in a video posted in May 2018, while on his way to a local sneaker store.

“I bought everything in the men’s section; there’s nothing more to buy, I bought everything,” he said in response to the query.

Uzi Is a Fit Pic Master on Instagram

If you haven’t noticed, the musician’s Instagram account has become a refuge for fantastic ‘fit shots,’ and he believes his style outweighs his broad musical tastes. With a thorough slideshow, the artist meticulously captures each of his looks. On average, there are five or so photographs that begin with a full-body view and progress to close-up shots of his outfit parts as you swipe right.

His style is so self-assured that he even includes the term “NO STYLIST” in his Instagram bio.

He grabbed a lot of attention at the 2017 Billboard Awards when he donned a transparent $2,400 Valentino shirt. When Sway Calloway asked him what he had to say to his detractors, Lil Uzi had the perfect retort: You know what it is? They’ve never felt anything like this before.

While picking the greatest outfits is difficult, the rap star has been pushing the limits of what men’s fashion can be.
