Trinny Woodall, a fashion and makeover guru, has been in a long-term relationship with Charles Saatchi. Despite living together in their London flat, the couple has yet to tie the knot.
Woodall, on the other hand, was once married. Years before her ex-husband tragically died by suicide, her marriage ended in divorce. Everything you need to know about her marriage, ex-husband, and current relationship is right here!
Trinny Woodall’s Ex-Husband Sarah-Jane Duncanson
‘Trinny’ Woodall married telecommunications specialist Johnny Elichaoff in 1999 when she was 35 years old. While the makeup artist was married for the first time, her spouse was married for the second time. From a previous marriage, Elichaoff has a son named Zak Elichaoff.
The married couple attempted to conceive a child. And before receiving their only child, Lyla Elichaoff, in October 2003, Woodall went through nine rounds of IVF and had two losses.
After her baby was born, the fashionista tried IVF seven times but was unable to conceive again. Her marriage to her husband was plagued by his addiction to painkillers and the child-bearing troubles.
As a result, their marriage began to fall apart. After a significant quarrel in 2009, the two split up.
“It was a tough decision when I divorced him because he wasn’t healthy, but Johnny hadn’t been well for years,” Woodall subsequently told Dailymail of the divorce.
Despite their divorce, the former couples remained close and shared parental responsibility for their daughter. After going bankrupt in 2014, Johnny took his own life five years after the divorce when he fell to his death from the roof of Whiteley’s shopping center.

The Relationship between Trinny Woodall and Charles Saatchi
Woodall and her partner have been together for about a decade.
In 2013, the two began dating. And the couple made headlines after they were seen having supper at a London restaurant just six weeks after Saatchi’s divorce from his then-wife, Nigella Lawson, on July 31, 2013. The couple was frequently seen together in public places or at events, indicating that they were dating.
Woodall also fuelled engagement rumors in April 2018 when she wore a big ring on her engagement finger and didn’t hesitate to cover it while eating with her boyfriend. However, the speculations yielded no tangible results. Despite this, they’ve remained together and are stronger than ever.
The fashion expert talked about her budding love in a 2021 interview on The Telegraph’s Imposter podcast (via Red Online). She added that she was happy with her partner and that she has ‘grown up a lot in terms of how I am in a relationship.’ During her outrages, her spouse would, in her words, help her calm down and reflect on herself. She also stated that her partner was supportive of her business and employment opportunities.
During the same interview, Woodall refuted claims that she was dating a much older billionaire businessman in order to profit from his vast wealth. The two are 20 years apart in age, with Woodall being 58 and her spouse being 78 at the time of writing.
She scoffed at such assertions, claiming to be the “most self-sufficient individual on the planet.” “I’m very aware of how hard I work. I understand that I am responsible for everything in my life “she continued.
