Maria’s Surprisingly Amicable Relationship With Her Ex-Husband
Maria was married to Austrian-American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is 70 years old, for more than two decades. The pair met for the first time in 1977 at a charity tennis tournament when NBC’s Tom Brokaw introduced them. They later began dating.
They married on April 26, 1986, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Hyannis, after being together for nearly nine years. Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher are their two daughters and two sons.
Maria was also the First Lady of California from 2003 to 2011, when Arnold as Governor. However, Maria discovered that her husband had cheated on her and had even fathered an illegitimate son, Joseph, through an extramarital affair with the couple’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

Despite the fact that the couple split up, they haven’t legally divorced. Insiders say Mariah filed for divorce soon after they split up, but Arnold has been dragging his feet. According to some sources, the delay is due to the couple’s disagreement over the distribution of Arnold’s $400 million in assets, while others believe it is due to Mariah’s religious belief in not wanting to end the sacred bond of marriage.
Whatever the cause, the pair has no bad blood and continues to visit each other regularly. On July 30, 2015, Maria and Arnold shared a birthday celebration for his 68th birthday. Furthermore, in late October 2017, the former couple reconnected on the red carpet at the premiere of National Geographic’s The Long Road Home. Their children joined them and posed for photos with them.
How did Fresno Country impress Maria?
Maria is living a life of honor, despite the marital cliché. She is a powerful campaigner for women’s equality. She has it all in her activity, from heading an ‘Anti-Campaign Alzheimer’s to attending a women’s conference.
Maria was thrilled to visit one of California’s largest cities, Fresno Country, in September 2018 for a women’s conference. She witnessed the country’s women empowerment firsthand, from being met by a welcoming female sheriff to being taken to the site by a female Limo driver. She didn’t hide the fact that she was under the influence.
We’ve arrived at a point in history where we can all rise and be the change we want to see in the world. And she reminded me of why I’m here, and why I got back up, so I just wanted to thank her for that.
We can only hope that her revolutionary role will result in positive improvements in the years to come.
