Younan Nowzaradan, aka Dr. Now, is an American physician, TV personality, and author best known for helping obese patients lose weight on the TLC show My 600-lb Life.
After legally ending a nearly three-decade-long marriage, the surgeon is now entirely focused on his professional career.

The celebrity surgeon and his ex-wife, Delores, married in 1975 and were married for nearly 27 years. From their marriage, he and his wife had three children: two daughters and one son.
For twenty-one years, Dr. Now’s mother lived with the family.
Delores cared for the family on her own and even quit her secretarial job after marriage. Delores was responsible for caring for and raising the Texas-based family when Dr. Nowzaradan was away on business.

Dr. Nowzaradan’s Post-Divorce Life
After overcoming personal challenges, the television reality star has come a long way. Professionally, Nowzaradan rose to prominence after participating in the TLC show My 600-lb Life. The idea for the show was suggested by his eldest son, Johnathon, who is also the director and producer.
Dr. Now and his team recently returned with Season Nine.
In addition, the 76-year-old is associated with Houston Obesity Surgery in Houston, Texas. In addition, he has five papers published and several books on obesity and laparoscopy.
Dr. now prefers to keep his personal life private. It is unknown whether he is in a relationship after a contentious divorce.

The Court found Dr. Now Guilty
Delores filed for divorce in the District Court of Texas in 2002, according to legal documents. All three children were adults at the time of their divorce hearing.
Delores filed for divorce, claiming “insupportability” and later adding “cruel treatment.” However, in response to the insupportability charges, the surgeon filed a counter-petition.
Dr. Now was found guilty of the marriage’s dissolution following the final decision and court hearing.
He also “complicated the discovery process by hiding records, impeding discovery, asserting bogus privileges, and failing to comply,” the court decided.
Furthermore, the court awarded Delores 70% of the total combined assets, which included cash, the marital home, and property.
