Moroccan’s maternal grandparents, Alfred Roy Carey and Patricia Hickey, are of mixed Irish, Venezuelan, and African American ancestry, while his paternal grandparents, Beth Gardner and James Cannon, are African Americans.

Moroccan’s Parents are still Best Friends in 2018 After their Divorce
As lovely as the beginning of their romance was, the conclusion was as uninteresting, devoid of drama, and occurred so abruptly that no one could understand why they broke up.
Mariah and Nick abruptly announced their separation after six years of marriage and two children. Furthermore, the divorce was cordial, with no acrimonious battles over alimony or child custody. Mariah Carey met Nick Cannon while filming her music video Bye Bye, and the couple married in a hush-hush ceremony in the Bahamas after only six weeks of a whirlwind romance.
